Impact and Transparency

Follow the framework for documenting results, lessons, public reports, and confirmed partnerships of Ottawa’s Congolese community responsibly.

Impact and Transparency

Documenting results carefully and transparently.

Local impact is measured through participation, access to resources, partnership quality, youth inclusion, and the ability to create lasting connections. Published results identify their period, source, and limitations.

Festival AfroCongo 2026

The competitive and cultural program held at Ottawa’s Rideau Hub on August 22, 2026 complemented the Gatineau youth day. The organization’s overall recap reports about 1,200 visits during the day and does not present this figure as a count of unique individuals.

Measuring more than attendance

Evaluation considers the range of activities, family participation, contributions from artists and exhibitors, volunteer opportunities, and the relationships created with institutional and community partners.

Accessible accountability

Public figures include a definition, period, and source. Authorized reports, recaps, and media are organized by year so readers can distinguish observed results from objectives that remain in progress.
